Hunter wins Mauldin runoff
In the Nov. 22 runoff for Mauldin City Council, Gabe Hunter was finally elected to Seat 3 over Jerry Smith by a tally of 357-324.

Larson wins Simpsonville Ward 6 seat
In a runoff election for the Ward 6 Simpsonville City Council seat, challenger Bruce Larson defeated incumbent Pat Thomas by more than 100 votes.

Gecy files notice to appeal election decision
Bob Gecy on Monday filed a notice to appeal a decision that stripped him of his election win over Tammy Bagwell in the Ward 4 race for Simpsonville City Council.
